Our Property
Kahtnu Flats Inn is nestled in the trees, overlooking the Kenai River and the Kenai River Flats. Kahtnu means "Kenai River" in Dena'ina, the local Athabascan language. Our Inn provides a serene, beautiful setting for you to rest, play, study, fish, hike, while you experience nature at your door step. Our Inn is family friendy . We are centrally located so you can experience a variety of outdoor and tourist attractions locally (Kenai, Soldotna, Sterling, Kasilof), or a couple hours away (Homer, Ninilchik, Anchor Point, Deep Creek, Cooper Landing, Seward).
Three private rooms to choose from. You have a choice of twin XL, king size, or double size beds. Two have private bathrooms with shower. Desks and chairs are in each room.
Shared areas include a large fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator and some freezer space for guest use. Large dining room and living room that is open to the kitchen. Bear den has a TV, DVD, music instruments and games. Limited WiFi is available for email, Facebook, but not for streaming video. Coffee and tea is provided as well as basic condiments and shelf space for your food items.
Two levels of deck with BQ grill and excellent views of the Flats, Alaska Range, and the Kenai River.
We promote and support a healthy, substance free lifestyle; therefore our property is smoke free and no alcohol and/or marijuana is allowed on the premises.
